As part of the final game of the XXX anniversary Championship of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Basketball Federation organized the awarding ceremony on 13 May 2022.
The BBF Executive Committee decided to award honored basketball coaches Aliaksandr Barysau and Rehina Pyshnik for merits in the development, popularization of basketball and a healthy lifestyle in the Republic of Belarus, high professional skills, and many years of conscientious and impeccable work – the highest award of the Federation – the medal “For Merit”.
– I'm so happy! – Rehina Pyshnik shared her impressions. – And how nice that we were awarded during such a wonderful match. The game is equal, interesting and exciting! To be honest, I am a fan of Tsmoki-Minsk, and their third victory in the final series would be a great gift for me!
The BBF Executive Committee decided to award coaches Valery Yurchenko (Smorgon SDUSHOR) and Siarhei Shaikouski (SDUSHOR “Minsk-2006”) for great merits in popularizing basketball and a healthy lifestyle, for exemplary performance of duties – the BBF medal “For basketball development contribution”.
- I am very pleased to receive this award today, I gave 49 years of my life to basketball, to my native Smorgon and Belarus, – Valery Yurchenko said. - Unfortunately, I am the only representative of our coaching team of silver medalists of the FIBA European Youth Championship. Moreover, this medal means that I have done something useful and good in my life.
