The FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2022 will be held in Graz, Austria on September 9-11, 2022. 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams in total will be taking part. The qualifying rounds will be held in Israel, Romania and Cyprus this June. Belarus will fight for the right to reach the final stage in Jerusalem between the 9th and 10th of June, 2022.

Seven men's and five women's squads have already qualified to go to Austria.

Men: Austria (the host), Serbia (current champions), Lithuania, Latvia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Russia (ranked).

Women: Austria (the host), Spain (current champions), Germany, Russia and France (ranked).

40 out of 76 federations applied for participation in the Europe Cup. Thus, 7 more women's and 5 men's teams may qualify for FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2022.

Qualifying tournament in Limassol (Cyprus)

Dates: June 4-5, 2022

Men: Cyprus, Albania, Andorra, Azerbaijan, Ireland, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Malta.

Women: Cyprus, Andorra, Ireland, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Malta.

In both categories, the teams will be divided into 2 groups, which will play in a round robin system followed by the playoff stage. The leader of the group will be automatically qualified to the semi-finals, while the 2nd and 3rd place teams will have to play an additional match to reach the semi-finals. Only the winning team will qualify for the Europe Cup.

Qualification tournament in Constanta (Romania)

Dates: June 4-5, 2022

Men: Romania, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Estonia, Italy, Turkey, Denmark, Bulgaria, Spain, Montenegro, North Macedonia.

Women: Romania, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Estonia, Italy, Turkey, Denmark, Bulgaria, Latvia, Belgium.

Qualifying Tournament in Jerusalem (Israel)

Dates: June 9-10, 2022

Men: Israel, Ukraine, Slovakia, Belarus, Switzerland, Slovenia, Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Germany, France, Georgia.

Women: Israel, Ukraine, Slovakia, Belarus, Switzerland, Slovenia, Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Lithuania, Netherlands, Serbia, Sweden.

The system of getting to KE-2022 in the qualifying tournaments in Constanta and Jerusalem is as follows: the teams will be divided into 4 groups that will play among themselves in a round-robin system. The play-off stage will then follow from the quarter-finals.

In men’s section, the winners of the semi-finals will go to the Europe Cup, while in women’s - the winners of the semi-finals, and the losers in the semi-final stage will compete for free pass to Graz.

Groups will be formed according to the rating of federations on March 1, 2022.
