On December 23, in the "Post Salon" of the Main Post Office in Minsk, an artistic stamped envelope and a special commemorative stamp, prepared in cooperation between the Belarusian Post and the BSE, were presented.

Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus Konstantin Konstantinovich Shulgan, the President of the public association "Belarusian Basketball Federation" Maksim Vladimirovich Ryzhenkov and Olympic basketball champion Tatyana Mikhailovna Beloshapko took part in the ceremony of the solemn release of postal products:

Maxim Ryzhenkov, the President of the BBF noted:

- This year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the development of basketball in Belarus, and it is very pleasant that excellent results have been shown during that time. There were also Olympic champions in our history who won medals as part of the USSR National team; there were medals of the Europe Cuos among women's teams; there were very successful performances of boys’ teams on the world arena; there were medals of the European Games in the new developing discipline of 3x3 basketball. These successes give us confidence that our sport will always be popular among children, adults and amateurs. Actions such as the release of an envelope dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the game are another step towards popularizing basketball. Postal products will be sent all over the country and beyond, and this motivates someone to learn more about history, and maybe even take up sports themselves.

Tatyana Beloshapko, 1980 Olympic basketball champion:

- This anniversary envelope will add to my small philatelic collection. At the Games in Moscow, there was a post office in the village of athletes where you could send a special Olympic letter. I kept this unusual sports envelope, then another one from the 1983 World Cup was added to it, and in 2018 we issued stamps dedicated to the World Cup among girls’ teams in Belarus. Now this collection will be supplemented with a commemorative envelope with a stamp “100 years of basketball development in the territory of Belarus”.
