Victoria Datsun, head coach of the Belarus-2 team said: “It is very difficult for me to give an objective assessment now, because we have gathered just before the tournament. During the training process, not a single scheme was developed. All this had to be done during the competition. I think that the roster of the team is chosen objectively. Could be strengthened by the girls of 2006, for example, Aliaksandra Palubok and Diana Linderava. It is worth noting that we played very well against the team of Russia. Shortcomings were immediately revealed: players very poorly insure a fast break and very slowly move from defense to attack. This is my fifth or sixth time participating as a coach in these competitions. And every time the tournament is organized at a great level. We are very pleased that it exists, and may many, many more years pass.”

Lyudmila Lisitsyna, head coach of the Trinta team: “We are the youngest here and we came for playing experience. And we got it. Girls competed with strong teams. For us it is very important. And also we haven’t been to Belarus for a long time, and I personally was extremely happy to meet my ex-rivals who played for Horizont, and I for CSKA. It was nice to come back here and get game practice. After all, your country has always been famous for its good women's basketball school. The Federation are great fellows that have preserved their history and authenticity. This is a great end to the year. I wish you good luck in the New Year!”

After all, they already know local rivals, but here they experience new emotions.”
