These are graduates (pupils and students) of educational institutions (colleges and universities) who have been or are being trained in the target area and / or are currently carrying out their professional and labor activities, including by distribution. The Club's scholarships in 2022 will be received by children's basketball coaches Aleksey Bitel (Youth Sports School of the Volozhin District) and Grigory Kolb (Youth Sports School of Pinsk). Candidates for approval in this nomination were provided by the regional departments of sports and tourism and other sports organizations.

The Belarusian Basketball Federation expresses its sincere gratitude to the RSPA Presidential Sports Club and, in particular, to the chairman of the club, Dmitry Lukashenko, for the encouragement and motivation of the BBF representatives, as well as for the attention paid to the achievements of athletes and the work of coaches.

Since 2006, the republican state-public association "Presidential Sports Club" has been successfully implementing a project to support young promising Belarusian athletes and coaches - scholarships from the Presidential Sports Club. Over the previous fifteen years, the club has awarded and paid 3,115 scholarships.

The project is constantly being improved. Since 2015, our own system of coefficients for calculating the size of the scholarship has been used, which includes about ten criteria. In 2016, a reward scheme was added for those fellows who progress or maintain their high level of results. Starting from 2018, the principle of submitting the application form and all documents of the applicant in electronic form via the Internet has been introduced, practically eliminating paper media. In 2019, in partnership with one of the Belarusian banks, an exclusive banking program was launched. In 2021, an experiment to support young Belarusian coaches in order to reduce the outflow of qualified personnel from the sports industry, whose work experience does not exceed 4 years.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo this year, 59 athletes from the Olympic team at different times received scholarships from the Presidential Sports Club, and out of 7 medals won by representatives of Belarus, 6 were brought to the Belarusian piggy bank by athletes who passed the “scholarship” project: the gold medal of Ivan Litvinovich , a silver medal in freestyle wrestling by Irina Kurochkina, a silver medal by Olga Khudenko and Marina Litvinchuk, a bronze medal in high jump by Maxim Nedosekov, a bronze medal by Alina Gornosko, and a bronze medal by Vanessa Kolodinskaya. All this proves that the complex work of investing in big sport gives real results.
