Yury Vouk head coach of the Belarusian Women's National 3x3 Team: This training camp is very important for us. Of course, all the main players of the 3x3 team are regularly involved in the BSU-Tsmoki team training and playing processes, and participate in the National Championships of the Republic of Belarus. Of course, such 5x5 practices give them an opportunity to maintain their physical condition, which is definitely a huge plus in preparing for the Olympic Qualifiers. However, these specific National 3x3 Team training camps allow us to work exactly on the technical and tactical elements of this sport. In addition to that, we have an opportunity to better assess the physical condition of the main players. Some of the girls, for example, still have to recover from old injuries, so they practice half strength. Others, on the contrary, are close to optimal conditions, and it is definitely encouraging. On Sunday, we will go to Kiev, where we plan to take part in two high-level tournaments together with the main Ukrainian National 3x3 Team. I am sure that these games will give us a lot in terms of the game experience and will become the starting point in the new season. Now the main start of the season is the FIBA 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2021.

Let us remind that in May 2021 in Austria, as part of the Olympic Qualifiers, teams will compete for tickets for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. The Women's National 3x3 Team, which is the only representative of team sports in Belarus still aiming to qualify for the OG, will also take part in the competition for the right to compete at the main sport event of each four years.
