The BBF staff gave New Year's gifts to the children of the social and pedagogical center of the Central District of Minsk, which is intended for temporary residence of minors who find themselves in a difficult life situation and need social assistance and rehabilitation.
As part of the charity event, which has been held in our country for 25 years, Belarusian Basketball Federation has congratulated sixteen students of the capital's center on the upcoming New Year and Christmas.
– "New Year and Christmas are the holidays during which a faith in kindness and miracles is especially powerful," said Nastassia Marynina, BBF Executive Director. – "We wanted to share a little warmth with children who spend these days without families. Even though they are surrounded with caring and very professional teachers, of course, their main dream is to return to their homes. Therefore, we sincerely wish their parents to have the strength and motivation to make this dream come true. And we just wanted this day to be filled with pleasant emotions of boys and girls".
The children got special souvenirs, sweet gifts and balls.
