Competitions for young basketball players were held on the "Zelenyy bor" recreation center on 24 and 28 August.
40 athletes from the "Tsmoki-Minsk" sports school took part in the tournament.
Winners and runners-up of the U-10 category:
1st place - the "Stars" team (Nastassia Murashova, Aliaksandra Bitsel, Lizaveta Bubovich);
2nd place - the "Black ball" team (Anna Nikitina, Varvara Pemahova, Maryia Antoniuk);
3rd place - the "Black dragons" team (Dana Kabesheva, Lizaveta Shulzhenka, Ulyana Skrigalouskaya).
Most Valuable Player (MVP) - Nastassia Murashova.
Winners and runners-up of the U-13 category:
1st place - the "Funny dragons" team (Stefaniya Kolesnaya, Vialeta Karzhevich, Kira Usanava, Nastassia Palazhenets);
2nd place - the "Victoria" team (Yauheniya Pakrushinskaya, Maryia Gusalava, Renata Sandakova, Zlata Vasilevich);
3rd place - the "Fire wings" team (Kseniya Raskazenka, Nataliya Perepechka, Volha Schepalava).
Most Valuable Player (MVP) - Stefaniya Kolesnaya.
All the participants received trophies from the Belarusian Basketball Federation.

We would like to remind you that in 2018-2020 within the framework of the joint project of BBF and FIBA Europe "Step to the Future" two large-scale festivals of basketball skills were held for young Belarusian athletes, including regional selection stages and finals, which were held at two arenas of the capital - Falcon Club Arena and the Sports Palace respectively. In addition, in summer and autumn of 2019, the training camps for children were organized in Volozhin and Minsk with the help of the U.S. Embassy in Belarus; the main lecturers were the American experts Chris Dial and Justin Berry, representing The Basketball Embassy. Recently, on 15 August 2020 the recreation center "Prival" hosted a large-scale 3x3 basketball festival for boys and girls (2007-2008).
