Basketball festival for the prizes of "Prival" recreation center in Grodno will be held on 15th August 2020.
Boys and girls (2007-2008) will become the participants of the large-scale project "Step to the Future", which is supported by FIBA Europe Youth Development Fund.
Nastassia Marynina BBF Executive Director and Secretary General: "This festival was already held on a regular basis with the support of FIBA Europe. Events of the youth project is aimed at the development and promotion of basketball and sports activities. Such festivals are useful and interesting for both children and their coaches. Besides, at such tournaments there is a scouting of promising players. I would like to say special thanks to our official partner – recreation center “Prival” – for the prizes and possibility to organize such event".
It is planned that young athletes from Grodno, Mosty, Molodechno, Lida, Smorgon and Skidel will compete in the basketball 3x3 tournament. Also on this day, both participants and fans will have an opportunity not only to compete, but also to have a great time. The recreation center “Prival” is located in a picturesque forest park area on the bank of the Neman river in 15 minutes’ drive from the center of Grodno. The territory of "Prival" is a popular place for recreation for both Belarusian tourists and foreign guests of our country. Modern hotel, varied menu in the local cafe, well-equipped sports courts, rental of various vehicles, entertainment complexes, a possibility of organizing holidays – will allow each guest of the complex to spend a weekend or vacation in a beautiful place in nature, as well as find activities for every taste.
It should be noted that from 31st July to 1st August, a 3x3 tournament among Women's teams (the representatives of Grodno basketball school) was held here as well.

We would like to remind you that in 2018-2020 within the framework of the joint project of BBF and FIBA Europe "Step to the Future" two large-scale festivals of basketball skills were held for young Belarusian athletes, including regional selection stages and finals, which were held at two arenas of the capital - Falcon Club Arena and the Sports Palace respectively. In addition, in summer and autumn of 2019, the training camps for children were organized in Volozhin and Minsk with the help of the U.S. Embassy in Belarus; the main lecturers were the American experts Chris Dial and Justin Berry, representing The Basketball Embassy.
