Yuri Vouk, head coach of the Belarusian U-18 Women's National 3x3 Team: “Participants in this camp are candidates for the U-18 Women’s National 3x3 Team. Most of these girls have practically no experience in 3x3 basketball, so each of them have opportunity to practice and learn the specifics of this sport is very useful for them. I have no doubt that young players during this practices will learn a lot of new and interesting things, as well as better understand the technical details. And what is very important, many of this knowledge will be useful to them also in classical basketball. For example, ability to beat on the perimeter, reading a defender, various options for completing an attack after a pass, and much more. In addition, we have two more athletes - Anastasiya Chaika and Katsiaryna Luzhatskaya, who are also candidates for the national team of this age group. Due to the fact that I have already worked with these girls and I well know the possibilities and potential of each of them, I decided not to involve them in this training camp in order to focus on working with less experienced girls”.

Reminding that this team is preparing for the 3x3 U-18 World Cup, which is scheduled for the end of August 2020 in Hungary and will be the first world championship in history for our girls. The final decision to hold this tournament will be announced shortly.
