BBF launches environmental campaign to reduce the use of plastic in the basketball in a country.
The first step in the implementation of this project was specially made bags from eco-spanbond and multi-use water bottles, which will be received by the participants of the tournament in memory of Semen Khalipsky, as well as the International camp for potential female referees.
Both events will be held from November 15 to 17 in Minsk. In total, about 100 participants of the competitions and the seminar will receive bright roomy bags from biodegradable, recyclable material that can be used in everyday life instead of plastic bags as memorable gifts from the Belarusian Basketball Federation. The organizers also prepared special branded bottles for drinking, in which players, coaches and referees of competitions will collect water from coolers, which will significantly reduce the use of disposable plastic containers.
